Prabhakar Raghavan
Prabhakar Raghavan is a senior vice president at Google, where he is responsible for Google Search, Assistant, Geo, Ads, Commerce, and Payments products. His research spans algorithms, web search and databases and he is the co-author of the textbooks ''Randomized Algorithms'' with Rajeev Motwani and ''Introduction to Information Retrieval''. Early life and education Prabhakar's mother, Amba Raghavan, taught physics and math at St Joseph's Convent School, Bhopal and St Patricks High School, Adyar, Chennai after earning a master's degree from Presidency College, Chennai. Prabhakar himself holds a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
