Pourandokht Mahiman
Pourandokht Mahiman ( fa, پوراندخت مهیمن; born April 4, 1953 in Isfahan, Iran) is an Iranian actress. She has acted in more than 110 films and series. She has been given the title of "Khosh Ghadham" and "Kind Mother" of Iranian cinema because of her many roles in movies and serials as a mother. She has the most motherly feeling in the cinema towards Mohammad Reza Golzar and considers all the young people of Iran as her children. Biography Mahiman's father was an immigrant from Azerbaijan, whose family name was originally ''Ghazi Ef'', which was changed to ''Mahiman'' after settling in Iran. She entered the cinema with the 1977 film ''Sooteh-Delan'', directed by Ali Hatami. Nargess (TV Series)
''Nargess'' ( fa, نرگس) is an Iranian TV program. It was supposed to be the first 90-episode drama on Iran's TV with such a story line, but the series finished in 69 episodes which was still the longest series in its kind broadcast so far. Poopak Goldarreh, who played the main character of the series named Nargess, died in a car accident when the series was filming its 37th episode. After this incident, Setareh Eskandari played as a substitute actress. The actress who portrayed Nasrin (Nargess' sister) refused to play for a few days because she couldn't bear playing with anyone other than Goldarreh. Iraj Ghaderi
Iraj Ghaderi ( fa, ایرج قادری‎; 17 April 1934 – 6 May 2012) was an Iranian film director and actor. He briefly studied to become a pharmacist, but soon dropped out. He died in Tehran on 6 May 2012, aged 77. Life Iraj Ghaderi studied in pharmacology but did not finish the program. His artistic career began in 1956 with playing in the film ''Intersection Accidents'' by Samuel Khachikian. He established the film company ''Panorama'' with Moosa Afshar in 1963. He, who is often recognized as one of the major filmmakers of the pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema, continued filmmaking after the revolution with the film ''Taraj'' in 1985.
