Præstø
Præstø () is a town with a population of 3,857 (1 January 2022) in Vordingborg Municipality in Region Sjælland on the east coast of the island of Zealand (''Sjælland''). The islands of '' Maderne'', ''Storeholm'', and ''Lilleholm'' are part of the Præstø Fjord Wildlife reserves (''Præstø Fjord Vildtreservat''). Præstø was the seat of the former Præstø municipality (Danish, '' kommune''). As of January 1, 2007, Præstø municipality ceased to exist as the result of ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Langebæk, Møn, and Vordingborg municipalities to form an enlarged Vordingborg municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 615 km2 and a total population of 46,307 (2005). The municipality belongs to the new Region Sjælland ("Zealand Region"). The former Prøstø municipality covered an area of 107 km2, and had a total population of 7,608 (2005). Its last mayor was Ole Møller Madsen, a member of the Ven ...

Bussen (film)
''Bussen'' (The Bus) is a 1961 Norwegian comedy film, directed by Arne Skouen and starring Leif Juster, and a strikingly similar 1963 Danish comedy film directed by Finn Henriksen and starring Dirch Passer (the texts acknowledge this source at the start of the Danish version). The plot and script is essentially the same in both films (and also a couple of names). The Danish version is made suitable for a Danish audience. The music to the Norwegian version was written by Maj Sønstevold and Gunnar Sønstevold, with additional songs written by Alf Prøysen. The original main character was written for Leif Juster. At this point in his career, Juster was a popular movie actor. It is possible that Arne Skouen was inspired by a narrative poem written by the poet Ingeborg Refling Hagen, about a milkman who is constantly running errands because of his good heart. Norwegian cast * Leif Juster - Busschauffeur Thorvald * Lalla Carlsen - Klara Tallerud, midwife * Egil Hjorth-Jenssen - ...

Præsten I Vejlby (1972)
''The Rector of Veilbye'' ( da, Præsten i Vejlbye), is a crime mystery written in 1829 by the Danish author Steen Steensen Blicher. The novella is based upon a true murder case from 1626 in the village of Vejlby near Grenå, Denmark, which Blicher knew partly from Erik Pontoppidan's Danish Church History (1741), and partly through oral tradition. Blicher's tragic tale has been adapted for the screen three times by Danish filmmakers. In 2006, ''The Rector of Veilbye'' was included in the Cultural Canon of Denmark by the Danish Ministry of Culture. The ministry noted that "the style illuminates elegiac pain and discomfort in an eerily intense drama, and the story is difficult to shake off." Danish literary historian Søren Baggesen stated "Blicher is not just the first of Danish literature's great storytellers, he is one of the few tragic poets Danish literature has ever had."Baggesen, Søren: ''Den Blicherske Novelle'', Odense Universitetsforlag 1965, p. 143 Synopsis The story ...
