Aage Lundvald
Aage Martin Lundvald (11 July 1908 - 15 May 1983) was a Danish illustrator, cartoonist, and composer. With a production of more than 1000 posters, he was one of the most productive Danish artists in his field. Lundvald was the son of machinist Aage Fritz Lundvald and his wife Johanne Margrethe Frederiksen. After high school Lundvald considered studying law, but soon revealed a talent for drawing. In 1927 he made his first professional drawing, a cover for Edition Wilhelm Hansen, and soon began making a living from cartoons, women's magazine illustrations, and vignettes for the daily ''Politiken''. Lundvald made his first movie poster in 1937 for the film ''Life on the Hegn Farm'', and created hundreds of movie posters and programs for both Danish and foreign films. Knud Hilding
Knud Hilding (21 November 1921 – 14 September 1975) was a Danish film actor. Hilding was born in Copenhagen on 21 November 1921. After graduating from the Frederiksberg Theatre School, Hilding was then employed at the Aarhus Theatre and appeared in several Copenhagen theatres after that. For a while he appeared as Pierrot in Pantomime Theatre in Tivoli. OnTV he appeared in the series ''Huset på Christianshavn'' and ''Livsens ondskab'', amongst others. He appeared in 29 films between 1955 and 1975. Hilding was married to actress Rinden Anne Grete Hilding. He is buried at the Bispebjerg Cemetery in Copenhagen. Ove Verner Hansen
Ove Verner Hansen (20 July 1932 – 20 February 2016) was a Danish opera singer and actor. He played the character, "Bøffen" (or "Biffen" in Norwegian, literally meaning "the steak" in both languages) in 16 of the ''Olsen-banden''-movies (11 danish and 5 norwegian). He played a tall, large, and slow-moving henchman, often seen lifting Egon Olsen up over his head, carrying him under one arm, and trying to kill him. Personal life and career Hansen began his career as an office clerk, but during his early life he also worked as a sailor, miner, lumberjack, and ambulance driver. Born with a deep and voluminous voice, he later began singing professionally, and in 1958 he became accepted into the Danish National Radio Choir. Gunnar Milton Hansen (March 4, 1947 – November 7, 2015) was an Icelandic-born American actor and author best known for playing the mentally impaired cannibal Leatherface in ''The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'' (1974). Early life Hansen was born in Reykjavík, Iceland, to Icelander Skúli Hansen, a dentist, and Norwegian Sigrid Hansen. He moved to the United States with his mother and brother when he was five years old. Poul Glargaard, born Rasmussen (11 April 1942 – 17 October 2011) was a Danish actor. He joined the Aarhus Theater in 1966 and the Aalborg Theater later, entering film in 1968. He has also appeared in numerous TV programmes in Denmark. He was also a successful comedian and entertainer, and dubber. Gert Bastian
Gert Bastian (26 March 1923 – presumably 1 October 1992) was a German military officer and politician with the German Green Party. Biography Born in Munich, Bastian volunteered for the Wehrmacht in 1941, at the age of nineteen. In World War II he served on the Eastern Front being wounded by a bullet in the right arm and in the head by a grenade fragment. He was also hit by American machine gun fire in France. After the war he started a business which failed and he rejoined the military. From 1956 to 1980 Bastian served in the Bundeswehr—joining as a first lieutenant, promoted in 1962 to the position of general staff officer/officer in the army command staff, and in 1974 promoted to the rank of Brigadier General, chief of staff in the army office—ending his service as a divisional commander with the rank of Major General.
