Kommareddi Suryanarayana
Kommareddi Suryanarayana () (8 March 1907 – 6 May 1995) was a Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha member in Indian Parliament, an Indian freedom activist and Gandhian.Suryanarayana Kommareddi, Luminaries of 20th Century, Part II, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, 2005, pp: 1006. Early life and career Suryanarayana was born in Pothunuru village in West Godavari district on 8 March 1907, a son of Shri Brahmaiah and Smt. Kanakamma. He began primary education in his native village, but gave up his studies in 1921 in response to the call of Mahatma Gandhi, and joined the Congress as a volunteer. He was elected as the Pothunuru Village Panchayat President for the period of 1933 and 1936. He was imprisoned on several occasions during the Indian freedom movement. Twelve of his family members were sent to jail in the freedom movement, including his father, Shri Brahmiah, and mother, Smt. Kanakamma. Eluru District
Eluru district is a district in coastal Andhra Region in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. With Eluru as its administrative headquarters, it was proposed on 26 January 2022 to become one of the resultant twenty six districts in the state once a final notification is issued by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The decennial Census of India has been conducted 16 times, as of 2021. While it has been undertaken every 10 years, beginning in 1872 under British Viceroy Lord Mayo, the first complete census was taken in 1881. Post 1949, it has been conducted by the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
