Position Among The Stars
''Position Among the Stars'' ( nl, Stand van de Sterren) is a 2010 documentary directed by Leonard Retel Helmrich. It was released on 17 November 2010 as the opening film of the IDFA (International Documentary Festival Amsterdam). The documentary is the continuation of '' Eye of the Day'' and ''Shape of the Moon'' and follows again the Sjamsuddin family, consisting of three generations, living in the slums of Jakarta, Indonesia. Leonard Retel Helmrich
Leonard Retel Helmrich (16 August 1959 – 15 July 2023) was a Dutch cinematographer and film director. Born in Tilburg, he lived in Amsterdam since 1982. He received highest honours for international documentaries at the ''Sundance Festival'' and was the first two-time International Documentary winner at the ''International Documentary Filmfestival Amsterdam (IDFA)''. On June 5, 2018 he was rewarded by the Dutch King Willem-Alexander with the title Knight in the Order of the Netherlands Lion. Helmrich was known for his work with the 'Long take, Single Shot Cinema' filming method. Biography After Indonesian independence the Helmrich family repatriated to the Netherlands during the Indo people, Indo diaspora. A Dutch documentary film is a documentary film made by a director of (partly) Dutch origin. Dutch documentary films are not necessarily bound to Dutch topics or locations in the Netherlands. Mortgage
A mortgage loan or simply mortgage (), in civil law jurisdicions known also as a hypothec loan, is a loan used either by purchasers of real property to raise funds to buy real estate, or by existing property owners to raise funds for any purpose while putting a lien on the property being mortgaged.
