Porto Vitória Futebol Clube, commonly referred as Porto Vitória, is a Brazilian football club based in Vitória, Espírito Santo state. Competes in Campeonato Capixaba, the Espírito Santo's premier state league, and in Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. History The club was founded on 16 October 2014, initially focused on the youth categories. In 2021, began to compete in professional category competitions. They finished in the second position in the Campeonato Capixaba Série B (second level) in 2022, qualifying for the first time for the Campeonato Capixaba. In 2024, the team won its first professional title, the Copa ES, defeating Vitória FC 1–0 in the final. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D (English: Brazilian Championship Serie D), commonly known as the Série D or the Brazilian Série D to distinguish it from the Italian Serie D, is the fourth division of the Brazilian football league system, and was announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on 9 April 2008. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D was formed from the split of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, Série C, keeping its best 20 clubs and playing double round robin as does the top three divisions. The Série D keeps the same format of the older Série C, but with participation limited to 40 clubs recognized by the state federation. Cariacica
Cariacica is a municipality in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, part of the Greater Vitória metropolitan area. Geography Cariacica is located 10 km northwest of Vitória, the capital of the state. It has a population of 383,917 (2020) and forms part of the Greater Vitória metropolitan area. The municipality contains the Duas Bocas Biological Reserve, created in 1991 to protect part of the water supply.
