Porto Valtravaglia is a ''comune'' (municipality) of c. 2,400 inhabitants in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northwest of Milan and about northwest of Varese. Porto Valtravaglia borders the following municipalities: Brezzo di Bedero, Brissago-Valtravaglia, Casalzuigno, Castelveccana, Duno, Ghiffa and Oggebbio.
