''Pooveli'' () is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Selva. An unofficial remake (with Indian twist) of ''A Walk in the Clouds'' (1995), the film stars Karthik, Abbas, Kausalya and Heera Rajagopal. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Bharathwaj while lyrics by Vairamuthu. Plot The movie opens with the main characters revealing their thoughts on love. Maha (Kausalya) feels one must love before the wedding while Shalini ( Heera) feels love is for after the wedding. Murali Karthikeyan Muthuraman (born 13 September 1960), better known by his stage name Karthik, is an Indian actor, playback singer and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema. ''Rojavanam'' () is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Selva. The film stars Karthik, Laila and Malavika in lead roles. Plot Muthu ( Karthik) is the favourite employee at Rojavanam, an old age home jointly by two friends ( Ravi Kumar and Nizhalgal Ravi) in Ooty.
