''Poova Thalaiya'' () is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language action film produced, written and directed by Sanjay Ram. The film stars Krishnakumar, Udhaya, Vaali, Sherin Shringar and Megha Nair. The film was theatrically released in India on 29 April 2011. Sanjay Ram is an Indian people, Indian film director and producer who has worked on Tamil films and was active in the late 2000s. Throughout his career, he worked on several films which failed to have a theatrical release. Furthermore, several of his films have been criticised for their gore content and excessive bloodshed on screen. Udhaya (actor)
Udhaya is an Indian actor who has acted in Tamil language films. He is the son of noted producer A. L. Azhagappan and the brother of director A. L. Vijay. Personal life Udhaya got married in August 2007 to Keerthika. Career Udhaya began his acting career in 1998 under his original name of Senthilkumar, by appearing in ''Ini Ellam Sugame'' (1998) produced by his father. Sherin Shringar (born 5 May 1985), known by her stage name Sherin or Shirin is an Indian actress, who has appeared in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu-language films. The Nadigar Sangam ( en, Actors' association), officially known as the South Indian Artistes' Association (SIAA), is a union for film, television, and stage actors in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, based in Chennai.
