Pongsiri Por Ruamrudee ( th, พงษ์ศิริ พ.ร่วมฤดี), is a former Thailand, Thai Muay Thai kickboxer, popular during the golden era of Muay Thai. He was popularly known as Rambo. Biography & career Por Ruamrudee was born as Paiboon Ladnongkee (ไพบูลย์ ลัดหนองขี) in Tambon Mueang Phlapphla, Amphoe Huai Thalaeng, Nakhon Ratchasima province, Isan, northeastern Thailand. He started fighter at the age of 12 with the support of his father, a fighting enthusiast. He fought at Rajadamnern Stadium for the first time, winning by knockout in the second round. Por Ruamrudee fought for the first time in the event "Suek Onesongchai" of famous promoter Songchai Rattanasuban by knocking out the second round Tepparith Sor Naya-arm, This fight made him well-known among Muay Thai fans. Amphoe Huai Thalaeng
Huai Thalaeng (, ) is a district (''amphoe'') in the eastern part of Nakhon Ratchasima province, northeastern Thailand. History Huai Thalaeng village was controlled by Tambon Ngio (ตำบลงิ้ว), Amphoe Phimai. It was upgraded to Tambon Huai Thalaeng in 1961 and became a minor district (''king amphoe'') later. It was upgraded to a full district in 1963. Taling Chan
Taling Chan ( th, ตลิ่งชัน, ) is one of the 50 districts (''khet'') of Bangkok, Thailand. Its neighbours, clockwise from the north, are Bang Kruai district of Nonthaburi province and Bang Phlat, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok Yai, Phasi Charoen, Bang Khae, and Thawi Watthana Districts of Bangkok. History Taling Chan is an old district back when there was Thonburi province. Now Thonburi is merged into Bangkok. In 1998, part of the district was split into a new Thawi Watthana district. Historically, much of the area was used as orchards and kitchen gardens, many remaining there today. It has been called "Bangkok's Kitchen". Toto Pongsawang or spelt Toto Por.Pongsawang ( th, โตโต้ ป.พงษ์สว่าง) is a former Thai professional boxer and Muay Thai fighter of the 1990s. Biography & career Toto had a reputation for being a Muay Thai in Isan region in name "Toto Kangwalprai" (โตโต้ กังวาลไพร). Later, his manager Songphol "Ja Tu" Pongsawang led him to a regular at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Bangkok under a promoter Songchai Rattanasuban. Jaroensap Kiatbanchong ( th, เจริญทรัพย์ เกียรติบ้านช่อง); is a former professional Muay Thai practitioner, born 29 September 1971 in Thung Song, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand. Orono Por Muang Ubon
Orono Por Muang Ubon ( th, โอโรโน่ พ.เมืองอุบล; born January 14, 1973, in Ubon Ratchathani) is a Thai former Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Orono started Muay Thai at 10 in the Kiatkamchai camp. At 15 he joined the Por Muang Ubon gym in his native Ubon Ratchathani Province to start his Bangkok career, training alongside other notable fighters such as Nungubon Sitlerchai and Nuengtrakarn Por Muang Ubon. His ring name was given to him by a trainer who thought he had a similar face as the boxing champion Rafael Orono who came to compete for a world title in Thailand in 1983 and 1985. Orono rapidly made a name for himself in Bangkok, fighting for the Songchai promotion. He was recognized for his southpaw style and ability to endure punishment.
