The Faculty of Business (FB, ) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) was established in 2002. It provides undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Hong Kong and mainland China. Xu Qin
Xu Qin (; born October 1961) is a Chinese politician, and the current Communist Party Secretary of Heilongjiang. Previously he had served as governor of Hebei, and before that, mayor, then party chief of Shenzhen, China's most prominent special economic zone. Career Xu Qin was born in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province, in 1961. He was admitted to the Beijing Institute of Technology in October 1978 to study photoelectric engineering. After graduating in 1982, he was assigned by the state to Factory 559 (later part of Norinco), a military contractor, to conduct scientific research with military applications. He returned to BIT two years later to study for a master's degree. The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is a public research university located in Hung Hom, Hong Kong near Hung Hom station. The University is one of the eight government-funded degree-granting tertiary institutions in Hong Kong. Founded in 1937 as the first Government Trade School, it is the first institution to provide technical education in Hong Kong. Annie Au
Annie Au Wing Chi (; born February 9, 1989), known as Annie Au, is a former professional squash player who represented Hong Kong. Career Annie is a left-hander from Asia who has made a great impression as a junior. Not only winning British Junior Open titles but reaching the final of the Asian Junior and being a member of the Hong Kong team which won the world juniors is also on her record. She is a tribute to the Hong Kong Squash development schemes. She started playing squash at school aged thirteen through the promotional scheme. She was coached by national coach Faheem Khan. Au reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 6 in May 2012. In 2016, she was part of the Hong Kong team that won the bronze medal at the 2016 Women's World Team Squash Championships in France. Chang Xiaobing (; born March 1957) is a Chinese former business executive. He served as the chairman of China Unicom from 2004 to 2015, and the chairman of China Telecom in 2015. The EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) is an international school accreditation system. It specializes in higher education institutions of management and business administration, run by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). EQUIS has accredited 189 institutions in 45 countries around the world. In 2022, Equis suspended all the Russian institutions from its ranking.
