Sunil Pokharel ( ne, सुनील पोखरेल; born on 16 June 1963) is a Nepali theatre artist and director. He is considered one of the pioneers of modern Nepali theatre. Sugam Pokharel (Nepali:सुगम पाेखरेल) is a Nepalese singer, music composer, songwriter, and radio jockey known for his contribution towards Nepali pop music. His first solo recording, ''Mero Sansaar'' (2001), became a top seller in Nepal. He gained recognition from the mass, particularly the youths, in the early 2000s, when pop music was not particularly popular among the general public. Giriraj Mani Pokharel
Giriraj Mani Pokharel is a Nepalese politician and the former Minister of Education, Science and Technology. He is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist). Political Life On April 12, 2007, Janamorcha Nepal, of which he was then a vice-chairman, nominated him as the new Minister of Health. Pokharel was appointed to the said position on April 29, 2007. Kul Prasad Pokhrel (Nepali:कुल पोखरेल) (September 21, 1981 – October 4, 2004) was a Nepalese singer-songwriter. He was popularly known by his stage name Cool Pokhrel and he was well known as a pop and folk music singer. He died in 2004, possibly of drug overdose. Pokhrel was born in Sunwal City, Nepal.
