Municipality Of Brda
The Municipality of Brda (; sl, Občina Brda, it, Comune di Collio) is a municipality in western Slovenia. It is located in the Slovenian Littoral region, extending from the Italian border to the Soča River. It is bounded by Sabotin Hill () to the east and Korada Hill () to the north. The people speak a distinctive Slovene dialect belonging to the Littoral dialect group. The Gorizia Statistical Region ( sl, Goriška statistična regija) is a statistical region in western Slovenia, along the border with Italy. It is named after the Italian town of Gorizia (the feminine adjective ''goriška'' comes from the Slovenian name for Gorizia: ''Gorica'').
