Po Strništi Bos
Po strništi bos (English - Barefoot, or Barefoot on Stalks) is a 2017 Czech war comedy film directed by Jan Svěrák. It is a prequel to ''The Elementary School''. Plot The film follows the young boy Eda Souček and his extended family during World War II. The family has to move to his family's home in the countryside home because Eda's father refuses to Heil in his job. Eda makes new friends and gets used to life in village. He also meets his uncle who is known as Vlk. Vlk doesn't get along with rest of the family because he tried to strangle his mother. Eda eventually befriends Vlk. Life in the village is influenced by war. Jan Svěrák () (born 6 February 1965 in Žatec) is a Czech film director. He is the son of screenwriter and actor Zdeněk Svěrák. He studied documentary filmmaking at the FAMU. He and his films have received awards including the Academy Award, Crystal Globe, Golden Globe Award, and Tokyo Grand Prix. Jan Tříska
Jan Tříska (; 4 November 1936 – 25 September 2017) was a Czech actor who played over 160 roles across stage, film, and television. He worked in the United States after emigrating there in the 1970s, but later returned to his native country following the Velvet Revolution. He was a three-time Czech Lion Award nominee, for Best Actor in Leading Role ( ''Lunacy'', 2005), and twice for Best Supporting Actor (''Rád'', 1994; ''Up and Down''; 2004). Biography Tříska was born in Prague on November 4, 1936. He studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
