Plonk (TV Series)
''Plonk'' is an Australian comedy television series. Originally filmed as five online webisodes, they were re-edited to produce the first season of three broadcast episodes which aired on Eleven from 11 March 2014 to 25 March 2014. A second season of six half-hour episodes premiered on streaming service Stan in June 2015. The satirical series follows the trials and tribulations of a television crew as they try to produce an engaging wine program. It stars Chris Taylor from The Chaser, Joshua Tyler and Nathan Earl playing fictional versions of themselves. 10 Peach is an Australian free-to-air television channel operated by Network 10. It was launched on 11 January 2011 as Eleven. It is owned by ElevenCo, which was established as a joint venture between Ten Network Holdings and CBS Studios International; the latter would ultimately acquire Network 10 in 2017. The channel focuses primarily on programming targeting a young adult audience, and was the current home of ''Neighbours''—the longest-running drama series on Australian television. Prior to the launch of 10 Shake in September 2020, the channel also aired children's programming. Matthew "Matt" Skinner (born 23 December 1974) is an Australian, sommelier, wine author, consultant and educator. Matt co-founded Fifteen Restaurant with Jamie Oliver and Tobie Puttock, and appeared in two television series with Puttock called ''Tobie & Matt''. Jay Wilson Weatherill (born 3 April 1964) is an Australian politician who was the 45th Premier of South Australia, serving from 21 October 2011 until 19 March 2018. Weatherill represented the House of Assembly seat of Cheltenham as a member of the South Australian Labor Party from the 2002 election to 17 December 2018, when he retired. Labor was in government from 2002, with Weatherill leading the Labor government since a 2011 leadership change from Mike Rann. Renee Li-Yen Lim (born ) is an Australian actress, television presenter and medical doctor. She is best known for her roles as Constable Jung Lim in ''East West 101'', Mae in ''Please Like Me'' and her recurring role as Vivienne Hart in '' The Secret Daughter''. Gregory Fleet is an Australian comedian and actor. History Early life Fleet was born in Michigan, in the United States. His father moved the family to Australia when Greg was four. Stan (stylized as Stan.) is an Australian over-the-top streaming service. It was launched on 26 January 2015. Stan originally was founded as StreamCo Media, a 50/50 joint venture between Nine Entertainment Co. and Fairfax Media. In August 2014, each company invested A$50 million in StreamCo. StreamCo was renamed Stan Entertainment in December 2014, prior to the January 2015 launch of the streaming service.
