Pleidelsheim is a municipality in the state of Baden-Württemberg, about north of Stuttgart. Pleidelsheim is situated on the right bank of the Neckar river across from Ingersheim. Neckar
The Neckar () is a river in Germany, mainly flowing through the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg, with a short section through Hesse. The Neckar is a major right tributary of the Rhine. Rising in the Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis near Schwenningen in the ''Schwenninger Moos'' conservation area at a height of above sea level, it passes through Rottweil, Rottenburg am Neckar, Kilchberg, Tübingen, Wernau, Nürtingen, Plochingen, Esslingen, Stuttgart, Ludwigsburg, Marbach, Heilbronn and Heidelberg, before discharging on average of water into the Rhine at Mannheim, at above sea level, making the Neckar its 4th largest tributary, and the 10th largest river in Germany. Ingersheim
Ingersheim is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg in Baden-Württemberg in Germany, belonging to the Stuttgart Region. Geography Geographical location Ingersheim is located on the western bank of the Neckar about 20 kilometers north of Stuttgart. The lowest point is at 182 m above sea level at the Neckar, the highest point is at 310 m above sea level in the Gewand Bürkle. The eastern boundary of the district is essentially formed by the Neckar River, in the north by the Saalen Forest, in the west along the Bietigheim Forest and in the south by the Brandholz Forest. Adelbert von Keller (5 July 1812 – 13 March 1883) was a German philologist. Biography He was born at Pleidelsheim, and educated at the University of Tübingen, where, after study at Paris, he became Privatdozent and assistant librarian (1835). After travels in Italy and research in Italian libraries, he was professor and librarian at Tübingen until 1850, when he became president of the Litterarische Verein. In this office much of his work as editor of German-language works was done, while his work in Romance languages belongs to the earlier period. Ludwigsburg (district)
Landkreis Ludwigsburg is a ''Landkreis'' (district) in the middle of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise) Heilbronn, Rems-Murr-Kreis, the district-free city Stuttgart, and the districts Böblingen and Enz-Kreis. History The district dates back to the ''Oberamt Ludwigsburg'', which was created by the dukedom Württemberg in the beginning of the 19th century. After several small changes during the century, it was converted into a district in 1938. Several municipalities of the dissolved ''Oberämter'' Besigheim, Marbach and Waiblingen were added to the newly formed district. Ottilie Wildermuth
Ottilie Wildermuth (; née Rooschüz; 22 February 1817 in Rottenburg am Neckar – 12 July 1877 in Tübingen) was a German writer, particularly notable for her children's books. Life Ottilie Rooschüz was the daughter of Gottlob Christian Rooschüz (1785–1847), a Kriminalrat (and from 1819 an Oberamtsrichter) from Marbach am Neckar, and his wife Leonore (1796–1874, née Scholl). She showed a strong thirst for knowledge early in life and wrote her own stories and poems. In summer 1833 she was allowed to spend six months studying in Stuttgart. In 1843, aged 26, she married the 36-year-old philologist Wilhelm David Wildermuth (1807–1885). After time as a private tutor in France and England, Wilhelm Wildermuth then moved to be a professor of modern languages in the Lyzeum (now the Gymnasium) in Tübingen. Etienne Arthur Boka (born 2 April 1983) is an Ivorian former professional footballer who played as a left back for the Ivory Coast national team. At club level, he plays for Atlético de Marbella in the seventh-tier Primera Andaluza.
