"Plage" is the sixth single by English people, English Electronic music, electronic band Crystal Fighters from their album ''Star of Love''. The single was released on 8 August 2011 through Zirkulo records, to positive reviews. Release The release of this single coincided with the release of the "Deluxe Edition" of the album. The single was released through PIAS Entertainment Group, PIAS to the continental European market earlier in the year to both positive reviews and chart success in the Netherlands. An acoustic version of the song was recorded on the UK TV show, "Abbey Road Debuts", produced by Channel 4 and aired in April 2011. The song also featured in a TV advert named "Forever Spring" for UK clothing retailer Matalan as well as another for US retail corporation Target Corporation, Target and the UK's Sky. Crystal Fighters are an English-Spanish electronic music band, formed in 2007, in London, England, and in Navarre, Spain. Their debut album, ''Star of Love'', was released in October 2010 in the UK and was released in the US through Atlantic Records in April 2012. Their second album entitled ''Cave Rave'' was released on 27 May 2013 and their third, ''Everything Is My Family'' was released on 21 October 2016. The album combines genres from Basque folk to straight electronic and dubstep. Two special releases followed in 2011: an Australian limited edition, which included a bonus disc of acoustic remixes, and a worldwide deluxe edition, which included the acoustic tracks and an additional track. The album charted in the United Kingdom and Belgium.
