Pittsford is a village in Monroe County, New York, United States. The population was 1,355 at the 2010 census. It is named after Pittsford, Vermont, the native town of a founding father. The Village of Pittsford is the oldest village in New York, incorporated in 1827. The village, an Erie Canal community, is in the Town of Pittsford. Pittsford is a suburb of Rochester, New York. C-pop is an abbreviation for Chinese popular music (), a loosely defined musical genre by artists originating from mainland China,Hong Kong and Taiwan (the Greater China region). This also includes countries where Chinese languages are used by parts of the population, such as Singapore and Malaysia. Morgan Schild (born August 25, 1997) is an American freestyle mogul skier. She competed for the United States Olympic team at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Early life and education Schild was born August 25, 1997 in Rochester, New York to Robert, known as "Buzz," and Lorraine, a nurse practitioner. She was raised in Pittsford, New York. Schild was athletic as a child. She began skiing at age five. Alongside freestyle skiing, she also skied cross-country, and played soccer and softball. Adam Podlesh (born August 11, 1983) is a former American football punter. He played college football for the Maryland Terrapins, and is the only player in school history to be on the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team for four years. Peter Dickson Pfitzinger (born August 29, 1957 in Camden, New Jersey) is an American former distance runner, who later became an author, exercise physiologist and sports administrator.
