The Pittsburgh Rebellion was a women's American football team based in Pittsburgh and a member of the Legends Football League (LFL). History The franchise was announced as the twenty-first franchise in the Legends Football League (LFL) in late 2016. WTAE-TV (channel 4) is a television station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, affiliated with ABC. It has been owned by Hearst Television since the station's inception, making this one of two stations that have been built and signed on by Hearst (alongside company flagship WBAL-TV in Baltimore). Toyota Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Ontario, California, United States. The arena hosts local sporting events and concerts and is suitable for indoor events, including basketball, ice hockey, ice shows, boxing, graduation ceremonies and concerts. The arena's basketball capacity is 10,832; 9,736 for hockey; and has a full capacity configuration for 11,089 spectators. The venue also has 36 luxury suites on two levels. The Los Angeles Temptation were a women's American football team in the Legends Football League, previously known as the Lingerie Football League, based in Los Angeles and Ontario, California. The team was established as Team Dream, one of two teams that participated in the inaugural Lingerie Bowl broadcast during Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. The team won the first two Lingerie Bowls in 2004 and 2005, and then again in 2010, 2011, and 2012 after the Lingerie Football League had launched in 2009. The league rebranded as the Legends Football League in 2013 and shifted away from the Super Bowl halftime shows. Atlanta Steam
The Atlanta Steam is a women's American football team of the Legends Football League (LFL) based in Duluth, Georgia, a Gwinnett County suburb of Atlanta, with home games at the Infinite Energy Arena. The Steam was the league's 14th team and played its first season in 2013. Prior to the 2020 season, the LFL became the Extreme Football League (X League) and rebranded the Atlanta team as the Atlanta Empire. Although the Steam were announced in 2008 as one of the ten teams for the LFL's inaugural 2009–10 season, but reportedly had issues with finding an venue. The Omaha Heart was a women's American football team in the Legends Football League (LFL) based in Ralston, Nebraska, a suburb of Omaha. The team played two home games per season at the Ralston Arena. The team was formed in 2012 as a member of the Lingerie Football League for the 2013 season, after the league shifted to a spring and summer schedule. The team's name was chosen in a contest from 12,000 votes. Before the 2013 season began, the league rebranded to the Legends Football League. Following the 2019 season, the LFL ceased operations and relaunched as the Extreme Football League (X League) for the 2020 season.
