Pitsj
Pitsj (founded 1999 in Oslo, Norway) is a female Norwegians, Norwegian a cappella quintet. The band consists of Anine Kruse, Anine and Benedikte Shetelig Kruse, Benedikte Kruse, the twin sisters Ane Carmen Roggen, Ane Carmen and Ida Roggen, and Anja Eline Skybakmoen (who replaced Tora Augestad when she left Pitsj in 2007). Biography Pitsj released their first album, ''Pitsj'', on Grappa Records, in September 2006. It was recorded in The Real Group's studio in Stockholm, Sweden and produced by their producer, Anders Edenroth. This album has received good reviews from different Norwegian news papers, one of them Dagbladet. Their repertoire focuses mainly on Norwegian pop (music), pop and jazz. They made a major contribution to ''Kjempesjansen'' 2006. Pitsj has performed at a large number of Norwegian festivals and concert scenes, and they have featured on Norwegian television. Arne Bendiksen
Arne Joachim Bendiksen (19 October 1926 – 26 March 2009) was a Norwegian singer, composer and producer, described as "the father of pop music" in Norway. Career Bendiksen was born in Bergen, Norway. In the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, he was a major figure in Norwegian popular music. First, as a member of the group The Monn Keys, later as soloist and composer for other artists. Besides writing his own songs, he also translated many foreign hits into Norwegian, making them Norwegian hits. Arne Bendiksen took part in the Norwegian Eurovision Song Contest selections several times, both as an artist and as a songwriter. Three times he represented Norway in Eurovision as singer; in 1964 (Eurovision Song Contest 1964) with ''Spiral'' as soloist, in 1973 (Eurovision Song Contest 1973) with ''Å, for et spill'' and in 1974 (Eurovision Song Contest 1974) with ''Hvor er du?''. Tora Augestad
Tora Karen Elisabeth Augestad (born 10 December 1979) is a Norwegian mezzosoprano, musical conductor and actor. One of Norway's most established classical singers, she focuses on jazz, musical theater, contemporary music, and cabaret. Her stage debut was the lead role in "Annie" in 1994, and won the Norwegian talent competition in 1993 at TV 2. Augestad has received Spellemannprisen (Norwegian Grammy Award) and other awards for her albums. She is a frequent collaborator of Norwegian composer Marcus Paus. Ida Roggen
Ida Rannveig Stuve Roggen (born 16 September 1978 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz singer, information officer, and literary scholar, and is the younger sister of jazz singer Live Maria Roggen and twin sister of Soprano Ane Carmen Roggen. Career Roggen is well known in Norway after recording the album ''Pitsj'' (2006) at the studios of The Real Group, within the vocal group Pitsj, followed by participation in the competition «Kjempesjansen» at NRK together with Tora Augestad, Anine Kruse, Benedikte Kruse and her twin sister Ane Carmen. Ane Carmen Roggen
Ane Carmen Stuve Roggen (born 16 September 1978) is a Norwegian singer, conductor, arranger, and journalist. She is the younger sister of jazz singer Live Maria Roggen and the twin sister of jazz singer Ida Roggen. Education Roggen attended the music program at Foss videregaende skole and received her Examen artium in 1994. She received a master's degree in musicology from the University of Oslo and wrote the thesis ''Wayfaring Voices: Discursions into Black Vocal Style in a Norwegian Context'' (2008). She also studied at CUNY Graduate Center in New York City and Universidad de Guanajuato in Guanajuato, Mexico (2000–01). Career Roggen is a producer at Rikskonsertene and became popular in Norway as a member of the vocal group Pitsj. Benedikte Shetelig Kruse
Benedikte Shetelig Kruse (born 20 December 1979 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian singer and actor, daughter of Professor of music, Gro Shetelig Kruse, and the Composer Bjørn Kruse. She is the sister of actress and singers Jannike and Anine Kruse. Career Kruse studied music at the Foss videregående skole, and is a graduated singer and singing teacher from the Norwegian Academy of Music, with experience from theater and television. She has worked with educational music programs for children and youth together with Anja Eline Skybakmoen. In 2004 together with Ane Carmen Roggen, she sang the choir on the record '' Nomadesongar'' with Lars Klevstrand. Singing

Anine Kruse
Anine Susanne Kruse Skatrud (born 1 November 1977 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian musician and choral conductor, the daughter of Professor of Music Gro Shetelig and the composer Bjørn Kruse, sister of actress and singers Jannike and Benedikte Kruse, and married to trombonist and bandleader Even Skatrud Andersen. Career Kruse studied music at Foss videregående skole before she attended the Norwegian Academy of Music. Here she got her diploma as choral conductor and singer, and after ten years of studies and as lecturer at the Academy, she soon (2014) get her master's degree in Conducting. Ole Paus
Ole Paus (born 9 February 1947; full name ''Ole Christian Paus'') is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, poet and author, who is widely regarded as the foremost troubadour of the contemporary Norwegian ballad tradition ( no, visebølgen). During the 1970s Paus was known for his biting social commentary, especially in his ironic and sometimes libellous "musical newspapers" in the form of broadside ballads in a series of albums titled "The Paus Post". Marius Müller (musician)
Marius Müller (20 August 1958 – 14 March 1999) was a Norwegian guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, radio host, television host and record producer. He was raised in Manglerud, Oslo and began his career as a professional musician at sixteen. He first became famous in 1981 with the song "Den du veit" and released a total of six solo albums and five albums within the band Funhouse (band), Funhouse where he was the front man. Müller died 14 March 1999 in a car accident in Groruddalen, Oslo. He was considered one of the foremost guitarists in Norway. Career Müller decided early on that he would become a guitarist. From the time he was six he heard loads of records with The Beatles together with his big brother. Børre Dalhaug
Børre Dalhaug (born 29 April 1974 in Ålesund, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (drums), music arranger and music instructor. Career Dalhaug has worked as a musician since 1995 and done around 800 concerts with bands like The Real Thing (jazz band), The Real Thing, Staffan William-Olsson, Staffan William-Olsson Sextet, Nora Brockstedt, Oslo Groove Company, Bohuslän Big Band among others. He has performed in Pakistan, India, Russia, France, Germany, Finland, Sweden and Denmark and participates on a number of albums. He released the Spellemannprisen nominated big band album ''BigBandBlast!''
