Benedikte Shetelig Kruse
Benedikte Shetelig Kruse (born 20 December 1979 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian singer and actor, daughter of Professor of music, Gro Shetelig Kruse, and the Composer Bjørn Kruse. She is the sister of actress and singers Jannike and Anine Kruse. Career Kruse studied music at the Foss videregående skole, and is a graduated singer and singing teacher from the Norwegian Academy of Music, with experience from theater and television. She has worked with educational music programs for children and youth together with Anja Eline Skybakmoen. In 2004 together with Ane Carmen Roggen, she sang the choir on the record '' Nomadesongar'' with Lars Klevstrand. Together with her sister Anine Kruse, Anja Eline Skybakmoen, Ane Carmen Roggen and Ida Roggen she comprises the vocal group Pitsj. and has also done many dubbing jobs. Pitsj
Pitsj (founded 1999 in Oslo, Norway) is a female Norwegians, Norwegian a cappella quintet. The band consists of Anine Kruse, Anine and Benedikte Shetelig Kruse, Benedikte Kruse, the twin sisters Ane Carmen Roggen, Ane Carmen and Ida Roggen, and Anja Eline Skybakmoen (who replaced Tora Augestad when she left Pitsj in 2007). Biography Pitsj released their first album, ''Pitsj'', on Grappa Records, in September 2006. It was recorded in The Real Group's studio in Stockholm, Sweden and produced by their producer, Anders Edenroth. This album has received good reviews from different Norwegian news papers, one of them Dagbladet. Their repertoire focuses mainly on Norwegian pop (music), pop and jazz. Ida Roggen
Ida Rannveig Stuve Roggen (born 16 September 1978 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz singer, information officer, and literary scholar, and is the younger sister of jazz singer Live Maria Roggen and twin sister of Soprano Ane Carmen Roggen. Career Roggen is well known in Norway after recording the album ''Pitsj'' (2006) at the studios of The Real Group, within the vocal group Pitsj, followed by participation in the competition «Kjempesjansen» at NRK together with Tora Augestad, Anine Kruse, Benedikte Kruse and her twin sister Ane Carmen. She also collaborated with the Norwegian rock band «CC Cowboys» on the album ''Innriss'' (2011). Roggen is Information Adviser at University of Oslo. Kjell Karlsen
Kjell Oddvar Karlsen (29 July 1931 – 5 May 2020) was a Norwegian band leader, composer, arranger, jazz pianist and organist, and a Nestor of Norwegian music and show business, with a career spanning more than 60 years. He was the father of the singer Webe Karlsen. Career Karlsen was born in Sarpsborg. Inspired by the Nat King Cole jazz ensembles from the time of World War II, he started his own orchestra at the age of 16 in 1947, ''The Syncopators Band'', in Sarpsborg, and he soon became a central figure in the local jazz scene. Paal Flaata
Pål Flåta (born 8 April 1968) is a Norwegian vocalist, known from the band Midnight Choir and as a solo artist. Career Flaata was born in Skien, Norway. He started his career in the Skien band Memphis News and has since then been involved in Paal & Pål Band with Pål Jensen, Carsten "Kesh" Holt, and Vidar Busk. In the early 1990s, Flaata traveled to Oslo along with two other musicians. There, they played hillbilly music on the street and were called the Hashbrowns. Then the band got a record deal, and went to the US to record an album. Hashbrowns was then transformed to Midnight Choir. Flaata was in the forefront of Midnight Choir, until the band was dissolved in 2004, and was involved in the outlet of five albums plus a compilation. He debuted as a solo artist in 2002 with ''In Demand'' and continued as a solo artist after the dissolution of Midnight Choir.
