Pit Lane Competizioni is an Italian auto racing team based in Piubega, Italy. The team has raced in the TCR International Series, since 2017. The team also races in the Italian Touring Car Championship, Touring Car Endurance Series and SEAT León Cup Italia. Italian Touring Car Championship Having first entered the championship in 2016, running a single SEAT León Cup Racer for Enrico Bettera. The team finished fifth in the drivers championship, with Bettera only taking part in partial season. They returned in 2017 running a SEAT León TCR for 2016 SEAT León Cup Italia champion Nicola Baldan and two Audi RS 3 LMS TCR for Enrico Bettera and Max Mugelli. TCR International Series
The TCR International Series was an international touring car championship. The championship was promoted by World Sporting Consulting (WSC), founded by former World Touring Car Championship manager Marcello Lotti. It was marketed as a cost-effective spin-off of the WTCC, targeted at C-segment hatchbacks production-based touring cars. The title TCR follows the naming convention now used by the FIA to classify the cars that compete in touring car racing, with TC1 referring to the top tier as used by the FIA WTCC and TC2 referring to the legacy cars which principally compete in the FIA ETCC. Carlotta Fedeli (born 3 February 1992) is an Italian racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series & SEAT León Cup Italy. Having previously competed in the TCR Italian Series, SEAT Ibiza Cup Italy & MINI Challenge Italy amongst others. Racing career Fedeli began her career in 2007 in Karting, she raced there for many seasons up until 2010. In 2011, she switched to the Italian Production Championship, she raced there up until 2012. She switched to the Italian MINI Challenge for 2012, finishing 12th in the championship standings that year. She continued in the series for 2013, however, only making 4 starts before switching to the Italian SEAT Ibiza Cup. For 2014 & 2015 she stayed in the championship, finishing 5th in the championship standings in 2015. She made a one-off appearance in the 2015 TCR Italian Series, taking two second-place finishes. 2016 Italian Touring Car Championship
The 2016 Italian Touring Car Championship is the second season of the ITCC to run under TCR regulations and the 30th season since a national touring car series was revived in 1987 as the Campionato Italiano Turismo. Starting from this year, the championship takes place of Campionato Italiano Turismo Endurance and it will be divided into TCR and TCS class. 2017 TCR International Series
The 2017 TCR International Series was the third and the last season of the TCR International Series. Stefano Comini entered the season as defending double champion, but finished only third in the standings with 30 points behind the new champion Jean-Karl Vernay, who won the title with a race to spare in the Dubai round, and Attila Tassi. Comini and Tassi were separated by only one point. In the teams' standings Hungarian team M1RA managed to secure the title in Dubai, beating the previous champions Craft-Bamboo Racing by 62 points.
