The Yine (also Piro) are an indigenous people in Peru. In the Cusco, Loreto, and Ucayali Departments, they live along the Urubamba River. They live along the Madre de Dios River in the Madre de Dios Department. Name Besides Yine, they are also called Chontaquiro, Contaquiro, Pira, Piro, Pirro, Simiranch, and Simirinche. Pirro Ligorio ( October 30, 1583) was an Italian architect, painter, antiquarian, and garden designer during the Renaissance period. He worked as the Vatican's Papal Architect under Popes Paul IV and Pius IV, designed the fountains at Villa d’Este at Tivoli for Cardinal Ippolito II d’Este, and served as the Ducal Antiquary in Ferrara. Ligorio emphasized and showed a deep passion for classical Roman antiquity. Early life and career Due to lack of accurate documentation, very little is known about the first three decades of Ligorio's life. It is estimated that he was born in Naples, Italy, in 1512 or 1513 while the city was still under Spanish rule. Biography Born Ugo Mattone in Battipaglia, near Salerno, he debuted as screenwriter for director Carlo Lizzani (''Achtung! Banditi!'', 1951, and '' Il gobbo'', 1960). His screenplays of the 1970s include films ''Indagine su un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto'' and '' Il giardino dei Finzi-Contini'', which both won Academy Awards as Best Foreign Film. Football career He was a fullback for The Catholic University of America and played in the 1940 Sun Bowl, where he was described as "5-foot 10-inch and 185-pound Arizona jackrabbit." Mark Pirro (born July 1, 1970) is an American musician (bass guitar), audio engineer, and record producer based in Dallas, Texas. He is a founding member of Tripping Daisy, an alternative rock band that was active from 1991 to 1999. John Pirro was a former lacrosse player and coach. He was a three-time first-team All-American, two-time Defender of the Year, three-time ODAC Coach of the year, and he is in the Charlottesville and Long Island Lacrosse Halls of Fame and the Roanoke College Athletic Hall of Fame. In 2011 he was announced as one of 24 finalists to be elected to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Pirro played lacrosse at Roanoke College from 1974 to 1977. During his career, he earned first team All-American status on three occasions and earned the NCAA Division II-III Defenseman of the Year Award in both 1976 and 1977.
