Michele Pirro
Michele Pio Pirro (born 5 July 1986) is a motorcycle road racer from Italy, He was 2007 and 2008 the ''Italian CIV National Champion in the Superstock class'' and a test rider for Ducati factory racing in MotoGP and rides occasionally as a wildcard. He has also competed in Grand Prix motorcycle racing and the Supersport World Championship. Career 125cc World Championship (2003–2006) He began his Grand Prix career as a wild card in the 2003 Italian Grand Prix in the 125cc class, on an Aprilia motorcycle. After winning the European 125cc Championship in 2004, in 2005 he participated as a full-time rider in the same class with Malaguti, scoring 3 points in the Chinese Grand Prix and finishing the season in 33rd place. In 2006, he continued to race in the 125 class on an Aprilia – and later a Honda – without scoring points. Grand Prix motorcycle racing is the premier class of motorcycle road racing events held on road circuits sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). 2011 Valencian Community Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2011 Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix was the last round of the 2011 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 4–6 November 2011 at the Circuito Ricardo Tormo. It was the first race after the death of Marco Simoncelli in Sepang. It was the final race for the current formula in the premier (MotoGP) and lightweight classes (now known as Moto3). In the premier class, the 800cc engines would be replaced by 1000cc engines. Honda also would change motorcycles at the end of the season, as the Honda RC212V that débuted at the 2007 Qatar Grand Prix would be replaced by the RC213V for the following season. Gresini Racing is a motorcycle racing team competing in the MotoGP World Championship under the name Gresini Racing MotoGP as a Ducati satellite team, in the Moto2 World Championship as Team Gresini Moto2, and the MotoE World Cup as Felo Gresini MotoE. The team also competes in CIV Moto3. The team was founded in by Fausto Gresini (1961–2021), a two-time 125cc world champion, after the end of his racing career. 2010 Supersport World Championship
The 2010 Supersport World Championship was the twelfth FIM Supersport World Championship season—the fourteenth taking into account the two held under the name of Supersport World Series. The season started on 28 February at Phillip Island and finished on 3 October at Magny-Cours after thirteen rounds. The championship supported the Superbike World Championship at every round. Kenan Sofuoğlu clinched the title at the final round after a season-long battle with Eugene Laverty. Joan Lascorz was also in contention for most of the season but suffered a season-ending injury at Silverstone, however he amassed enough points to claim third place. The 2006 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season was the 58th Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Road racing World Championship season. The 2005 Chinese motorcycle Grand Prix was the third round of the 2005 MotoGP Championship. It took place on the weekend of 29 April-1 May 2005 at the Shanghai International Circuit. It was the first time that MotoGP raced in China.
