Pioneros De Querétaro
Pioneros de Querétaro (English: ''Querétaro Pioneers'') are an American football team based in Querétaro City, Mexico. The Pioneros compete in Fútbol Americano de México (FAM). The team plays its home games at the Unidad Deportiva El Pueblito. History Pioneros was founded in December 2018 as one of the charter members of Fútbol Americano de México (FAM), a minor-professional American football league in Mexico. Gene Dahlquist was appointed as the team's first head coach. Nevertheless, Dahlquist left the team after two games citing personal reasons and was replaced with Rassielh López. In their first season, Pioneros won the FAM championship after defeating the Centauros de Ciudad Juárez 16–0. A few months later, it was announced that the team would join the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA) for the 2020 season, as the ninth team of the LFA. Ramiro Pruneda RU-ned-ah(born 25 January 1983) is a Mexican offensive tackle for the Dinos de Saltillo of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA). He was signed by the Cologne Centurions in 2006. He played college football at ITESM. The 2019 LFA season was the fourth season of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional, the top American football league in Mexico. The regular season began on February 22 and concluded on April 14. The playoffs commenced on April 26 and concluded on May 12 with the Condors defeating the Raptors to win the Tazón México IV. Preseason events Expansion and stadium changes Two new teams joined the league for the 2019 season: Artilleros Puebla, based in Puebla, and Osos Toluca, based in Toluca, State of Mexico. 2020 LFA Season
The 2020 LFA season was the fifth season of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA), the top American football league in Mexico. The regular season began on February 8 and was to conclude on April 26, with the playoffs beginning on May 1 and ending with the Tazón México V on May 17. Nevertheless, after week 5, on March 16, the LFA announced the suspension of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and on 29 March 2020 the league confirmed that the season was cancelled.
