Pilar Cristina Roxas Amador (born 16 March 1966), commonly known by her stage name Pinky Amador, is a Filipina actress, singer, commercial model and TV host. Amador was in the original London cast of the Cameron Mackintosh musical hit ''Miss Saigon''. She is seen mostly on GMA Network, but lately in ABS-CBN. Background Amador is the niece of the late Zenaida Amador, the founder of Repertory Philippines. She is the youngest of three children from a Spanish Filipino family. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and has dark brown hair and eyes. Amador had a pet cat called Leonidas, a Persian cat. However, on August 11, 2022, her cat passed away. It was 16 years old. Agnes Of God
''Agnes of God'' is a 1979 play by American playwright John Pielmeier which tells the story of a novice nun who gives birth and insists that the child was the result of a virgin conception. A psychiatrist and the mother superior of the convent clash during the resulting investigation. The title is a pun on the Latin phrase Agnus Dei (Lamb of God). Synopsis The stage play concerns three main characters: Martha, the psychiatrist; the Mother Superior; and Agnes, the novice. There are no other characters on stage. All three roles are considered demanding for the actors playing them. Martha covers the full gamut of emotion during the play, from nurturer to antagonist, from hard nosed court psychiatrist and atheist to faith-searching healer. The Gawad Urian Awards are annual film awards in the Philippines held since 1977. It is given by the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino (MPP, "the Filipino Film Critics") and is currently regarded as the counterpart of the United States' New York Film Critics Circle. Establishment The MPP was formed by a host of scholars, film writers and other award-winning writers on May 1, 1976 as a critics' voice to rival the then-only award-giving body in the Philippines, which is its Oscars', the FAMAS Awards. ''The Sound of Music'' is a musical with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. It is based on the 1949 memoir of Maria von Trapp, '' The Story of the Trapp Family Singers''.
