Pinheiros is a train station on ViaMobilidade Line 9-Emerald, with connection with ViaQuatro Line 4-Yellow. Listed by the GaWC a .... History Pinheiros station was opened, with temporary installations, by Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana (EFS), along with the Jurubatuba branch, on 25 January 1957. The definitive installations were opened in 1958. In 1971, Fepasa incorporated EFS and began a modernization plan of the Jurubatuba branch. The station was considered of difficult access, because any passenger who leaves that station, had to, obligatorily, cross two ways of Marginal Pinheiros, one of the most crowded roads of the city, which caused many trampling cases. ViaQuatro is a company belonging to Companhia de Concessões Rodoviárias, being responsible for the operation, maintenance and investiments of more than US$2 billion in the Line 4 of São Paulo Metro for 30 years, through the first public-private concession contract of the country, in partnership with the Government of the State of São Paulo. Cidade Universitária is a train station on ViaMobilidade Line 9-Emerald, in the district of Alto de Pinheiros in São Paulo. History The station was built by Fepasa to attend University of São Paulo students, being opened on 4 April 1981. Line 5 (São Paulo Metro)
Line 5 (Lilac) ( pt, Linha 5–Lilás) is one of the six lines that make up the São Paulo Metro and one of the 13 lines that make up the Metropolitan Rail Transportation Network. The line transports about 600,000 people every business day, and since August 2018 it is operated by the private company ViaMobilidade. The southern section of the line, between Largo Treze and Capão Redondo was completed in 2002 and was envisioned as a railway line of the CPTM called Line G. The project was transferred to the São Paulo Metro and renamed to Line 5 - Lilac. A northern extension connecting it with the rest of the São Paulo Metro network started construction 2009 with a completion deadline of 2013. Line 4 (Yellow) ( pt, Linha 4–Amarela) is one of the six lines that make up the São Paulo Metro and one of the thirteen lines that make up the São Paulo Metropolitan Rail Transportation Network. Originally called Southeast-Southwest Line, the line goes from Vila Sônia to Luz and currently has 11 stations along its and transports around 800,000 users/day.
