Pine Junction, Colorado
Pine Junction is a small unincorporated community in central Colorado in the United States. Pine Junction is the first intersection with a traffic light on U.S. Highway 285 in the foothills. At this traffic light, you can turn left on Colorado Rd 126 to go to the historic Town of Pine Grove and continue to State Highway 67 to Deckers and Woodland Park. Pine Junction is situated in the foothills of the Front Range south of Mount Blue Sky, approximately 25 miles (40 km) southwest of Denver along U.S. Highway 285. The community sits astride the Park-Jefferson county line, and is situated at the crest of a hill on the highway, east of where the highway drops from Crow Hill down into the Platte Canyon near Bailey. The community consists of a strip of retail businesses along the highway, as well as nearby houses on either side of highway. Deckers, Colorado
Deckers is an unincorporated community along the South Platte River in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. Stephen Decker built a general store here in the 1890s. He later added a saloon and called the settlement "Daffodil." The presence of natural springs led him to establish Deckers Mineral Springs and Resort in the popular region for fly-fishing. Deckers received national attention for the June 2002 forest fire, known as the Hayman Fire, which burned thousands of acres on the outskirts of the Denver metro area. The U.S. Post Office at Sedalia ( ZIP Code 80135) now serves Deckers postal addresses. Geography Deckers is located at (39.255386,-105.227222). Bustang
Bustang is an intercity bus service in the U.S. state of Colorado. Service began in 2015 and originally traveled between Denver and Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Glenwood Springs. Service has since been expanded to connect Grand Junction, Durango, Gunnison, Alamosa, Pueblo, Fairplay and Lamar among others. It is Colorado's first state-run bus service. Bailey is an unincorporated community and U.S. Post Office in northeastern Park County, Colorado, United States. Bailey's Post Office ZIP Code is 80421. The town community consists of several small businesses, restaurants and churches. The North Fork South Platte River flows through Bailey. Platte Canyon
The Platte Canyon is a deep, narrow, scenic gorge on the South Platte River in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The canyon is southwest of Denver on the border between Jefferson and Douglas counties. The canyon is at the entrance to the mountains, where the South Platte emerges through the Rampart Range through the hogbacks onto Eastern Plains. Mount Blue Sky (formerly Mount Evans) is the highest peak in the Mount Evans Wilderness in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. The prominent fourteener is located southwest by south ( bearing 214°) of Idaho Springs in Clear Creek County, Colorado, United States, on the drainage divide between Arapaho National Forest and Pike National Forest. State Highway 67 (SH 67) is a state highway encompassing five distinct segments in south-central Colorado. SH 67's southern terminus is at SH 96 in Wetmore, and the northern terminus is at U.S. Route 85 (US 85) in Sedalia.
