Peter Pilz (born 22 January 1954) is an Austrian politician ( JETZT). From 1986 to 2017, he was a member of the Austrian Green Party. Political career Born in Kapfenberg, Styria, Pilz has been a member of the Austrian Parliament (''Nationalrat'') between 1986 and 1991 and since 1999. From 1992 to 1994 he also was federal spokesperson of the Greens. His main area of interest is legal matters and political corruption. Commonly known wearing a black jacket and a red, grey or green T-shirt, he was the first Austrian politician to keep a blog on the Internet. In January 2005, Pilz made international news when he called for Arnold Schwarzenegger to be stripped of his Austrian citizenship. Christiane Pilz (born 3 August 1975) is a German triathlete who competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Biography Pilz started out both as a sailor and a swimmer for thirteen years, until she began with her triathlon career at the age of twenty. In 1997, she was admitted to the club ''PSV Rostock'', and won several titles at the national championships for both triathlon and duathlon. Pilz reached into the international stage in triathlon, when she placed twelfth at the 1999 ETU Triathlon European Championships in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, and in 2000, she claimed her first medal at the FISU World University Triathlon Championships in Tiszaújváros, Hungary. Hans-Uwe Pilz (born 10 November 1958) is a German former footballer. He began his career with BSG Sachsenring Zwickau before joining Dynamo Dresden during the winter break of the 1981–82 season. He remained at Dynamo until German reunification when he moved west, following teammates Matthias Döschner and Andreas Trautmann to Fortuna Köln. However, he returned to Dynamo after a few months, and would play for the club until 1995, including four years in the Bundesliga. After the club suffered a double relegation in 1995, Pilz returned to FSV Zwickau, before retiring in 1997. He later had two brief spells as manager at Zwickau. Anders Piltz (born 7 March 1943) is a Swedish Latinist, medievalist, Dominican friar, and Roman Catholic priest Born in Ödeborg in Dalsland, Piltz studied at the University of Uppsala and at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome. He completed his Ph.D. at Uppsala in 1977. From 1981 he taught at Lund University, where he was appointed professor of Latin in 2000. He is now active as professor emeritus.
