Pilar Homem De Melo
Pilar Homem de Melo (Lisbon, July 5, 1963) is a Portugal, Portuguese singer-songwriter and one of the main responsible of the New Pop Music in Portugal. Biography Pilar moved to Rio de Janeiro in 1975 along with her family, where meets the most relevant representatives of Música popular brasileira (MPB) – emphasizing the great friendship made with Caetano Veloso – who decisively influenced her music. She graduated at Berklee College of Music, Boston, in 1985. In 1988 she signed with EMI label releasing in the following year, her homonymous debut album produced by Wayne Shorter. In 1991 acts in the first part of Suzanne Vega's concert, in the Cascais Pavilion and in Oporto Coliseum. In 1993 she released the album ''Pecado Original'', recorded at Marcus Studio in London, produced by Steve Davis, with the participation of Vicente Amigo. Dakar ( ; ; wo, Ndakaaru) (from daqaar ''tamarind''), is the capital and largest city of Senegal. Habib Faye
Habib Faye (November 22, 1965 – April 25, 2018) was a bassist, keyboardist, guitar soloist, arranger, composer and Grammy-nominated producer from Senegal. He was mostly known as the musical director for Youssou N'dour's Super Étoile de Dakar. He was one of the most talented African bassists of the last quarter-century. He played the bass and produced music for Super Etoile since 1984. He was believed to have picked up the bass when he was 13, but started his musical exploration at the age of nine, thanks to his older brother, Vieux Mac Faye, who is an accomplished guitarist himself. His other brothers are musicians as well. Lamine Faye is one of Senegal's most popular and respected guitar players, and for a long time was a member of Super Diamono, before he left to form his own band, Lemzo Diamono, in 1991. Vicente Amigo Girol (born 25 March 1967) is a Spanish flamenco composer and guitarist, born in Guadalcanal near Seville. He has played as an accompanying guitarist on recordings by flamenco singers Camarón de la Isla, and Luis de Córdoba, and he has acted as a producer for Remedios Amaya and José Mercé. His album ''Ciudad de las Ideas'' won the 2001 Latin Grammy for the Best Flamenco Album and the 2002 Ondas award for the best Flamenco work.
