Elise Aun
Elise Aun (15 July 1863 – 2 June 1932) was an Estonian poet and writer; one of the most notable women writers in 19th-century Estonia. Elise Rosalie Aun was born in Pikareinu, Valgjärve Parish Valgjärve Parish ( et, Valgjärve vald) was a rural municipality of Estonia, in Põlva County. It had a population of 1,562 (as of 1 January 2009) and an area of 143.02 km². Settlements ;Villages: Abissaare - Aiaste - Hauka - Kitse - ... (now, Kanepi Parish), Põlva County in 1863. In 1882, she graduated from Räpina Parish Girls' School. After graduating, she was unable to find steady work and did different small jobs in 1880s and 1890s. In 1902, she became an outlet manager for the Christian Popular Literature Agency in Tallinn. In 1903, she married schoolteacher Friedrich Raup. Counties Of Estonia
Counties ( et, maakond, plural ') are the first-level administrative subdivisions of Estonia. Estonian territory is composed of 15 counties, including 13 on the mainland and 2 on islands. The government (') of each county is led by a ' (governor) who represents the national government (') at the regional level. Governors are appointed by the national government for a term of five years. Each county is further divided into municipalities of two types: urban municipalities (towns, ') and rural municipalities (parishes, '). The number and name of the counties were not affected. It is situated in south-eastern part of the country and borders Tartu, Valga and Võru counties. 28,507 people live in Põlva County – constituting 2.3% of the total population in Estonia (as of January 2013). Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time.
