Pig's Breakfast
''Pig's Breakfast'' (also known as ''Off The Air'') is an Australian children's television series that was broadcast in 1999. Two alien school kids, Grob and Meeba, accidentally crash their galactic school bus into a television studio on Earth where a producer mistakes them for two actors come to do a skit on her TV show. The aliens are such a hit that she hires them to host the show. Two children, Rodney and Lucy, discover the aliens' identity and help to keep them safe while they try to find a way to get home. It aired in many countries, including ITV's CITV in the United Kingdom and RTÉ2's The Den in Ireland. Annie Jones (born Annika Jancso; 13 January 1967) is an Australian actress, known for her roles in soap operas and serials, most especially ''Sons and Daughters (Australian TV series), Sons and Daughters'' as Jess Campbell, in ''Neighbours'' as Jane Harris (Neighbours), Jane Harris and ''Newlyweds (TV series), Newlyweds'' as Allie Carter. GTV (Australia)
GTV is a commercial television station in Melbourne, Australia, owned by the Nine Network. The station is currently based at studios at 717 Bourke Street, Docklands. History GTV-9 was amongst the first television stations to begin regular transmission in Australia. Test transmissions began on 27 September 1956, introduced by former 3DB radio announcer Geoff Corke, based at the Mount Dandenong transmitter, as the studios in Richmond were not yet ready. The station covered the 1956 Summer Olympics which Melbourne hosted., the 1956 Carols By Candlelight and the Davis Cup tennis as part of its test transmissions. The station was officially opened on 19 January 1957 by Victorian Governor Sir Dallas Brooks from the studios in Bendigo Street, Richmond. A clip from the ceremony has featured in a number of GTV-9 retrospectives, in which the Governor advises viewers that if they did not like the programs, they could just turn off. Richmond, Victoria
Richmond is an inner-city suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Yarra local government area. Richmond recorded a population of 28,587 at the 2021 census, with a median age of 34. A.W.Howitt recorded the Kulin/Woiwurrung name for Richmond as Quo-yung with the possible meaning of 'dead trees'. Catherine Mack-Hancock (born 1983) is an Australian actress and director. Early life Mack-Hancock started acting an early age, performing locally with the Geelong Society of Dramatic Arts and landing a role in Ch 9's Kids Breakfast TV series. She was educated at Bellbrae Primary School, Grovedale College and the University of Melbourne, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Philosophy, and a Diploma of Creative Arts. Geoff Paine
Geoff Paine is an Australian television and theatre actor from Melbourne. After graduating from drama school Paine secured a role on the soap opera ''Neighbours'', playing the role of doctor Clive Gibbons. He remained in the role for one year before leaving to pursue other projects. He returned to the role briefly in 1989, with the opportunity to appear in a spin-off series based on the character, but no television network would produce the show. Paine continued his career with roles in ''A Country Practice'' and the comedy sketch show ''The Comedy Company''.
