Geoff Paine
Geoff Paine is an Australian television and theatre actor from Melbourne. After graduating from drama school Paine secured a role on the soap opera ''Neighbours'', playing the role of doctor Clive Gibbons. He remained in the role for one year before leaving to pursue other projects. He returned to the role briefly in 1989, with the opportunity to appear in a spin-off series based on the character, but no television network would produce the show. Paine continued his career with roles in ''A Country Practice'' and the comedy sketch show ''The Comedy Company''. He also concentrated on his stage career gaining roles in productions that toured Australia, including various projects at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He continued to appear on television with numerous guest roles in dramas. City Homicide
''City Homicide'' is an Australian television drama series that aired on the Seven Network between 27 August 2007 and 30 March 2011. The series was set on the Homicide floor of a metropolitan police headquarters in Melbourne. The main characters were six detectives, who solve the murder cases, and their three superior officers. ''City Homicide'' did not return in its regular format in 2011. A six-episode mini-series titled '' No Greater Honour'' was shown instead which marked the closing storyline of the series. The mini-series guest-starred Claire van der Boom, Marcus Graham, John Howard and Graeme Blundell. ''The Adventures of Lano and Woodley'' is an Australian comedy television show starring the comedic duo of Lano and Woodley (Colin Lane and Frank Woodley), consisting of two series which aired on ABC TV from 1997 to 1999.
