Pierre Lechantre (born 2 April 1950) is a French footballer coach and former player. He won the 2000 African Cup of Nations with the Cameroon national team. The Senegal national football team ( French: ''Équipe de football du Senegal''), nicknamed the ''Lions of Teranga'', represents Senegal in international association football and is operated by the Senegalese Football Federation. It was co-hosted by Ghana and Nigeria, who jointly replaced Zimbabwe as host. Just like in 1998, the field of sixteen teams was split into four groups of four. Simba is a fictional character and the protagonist of Disney's ''The Lion King'' franchise.
