Pierre Gaudibert
Pierre Gaudibert (3 March 1928 – 17 January 2006) was a French art curator and critic. He was the inaugural curator of the contemporary art section at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, where he exhibited left-wing artists. He was also the curator of the Museum of Grenoble and the Musée national des Arts d'Afrique et d'Océanie. He was the author of eight books about art and culture. Early life Pierre Gaudibert was born on 3 March 1928 in Paris. He studied art history at university. Career Gaudibert began his career at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris in 1966, where he became associated with "narrative figuration". In 1967, he curated a section for contemporary art known as ''Animation-Recherche-Confrontation''. His first exhibition, held in June 1967, was prefaced by art critic Gérald Gassiot-Talabot. Suzanne Pagé (born in 1941 in Brittany) is a French curator and museum director. She is currently the artistic director of the Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation in Paris. Career Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris In 1973 Pagé began to run the ARC (Animation/Research/Confrontation) research and exhibition area within the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris. Pagé became the director of the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris in Paris in 1988, a position she held until 2007 when she was succeeded by Fabrice Hergott. Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation In 2006 Pagé was appointed as the artistic director of Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation. The Foundation will exhibit artworks from the LVMH collection alongside contemporary temporary exhibitions. Pierre-Félix Guattari ( , ; 30 April 1930 – 29 August 1992) was a French psychoanalyst, political philosopher, semiotician, social activist, and screenwriter. He co-founded schizoanalysis with Gilles Deleuze, and ecosophy with Arne Næss, and is best known for his literary and philosophical collaborations with Deleuze, most notably ''Anti-Oedipus'' (1972) and ''A Thousand Plateaus'' (1980), the two volumes of their theoretical work ''Capitalism and Schizophrenia''. Louis Pierre Althusser (, ; ; 16 October 1918 – 22 October 1990) was a French Marxist philosopher. He was born in Algeria and studied at the École normale supérieure in Paris, where he eventually became Professor of Philosophy. Third-Worldism is a political concept and ideology that emerged in the late 1940s or early 1950s during the Cold War and tried to generate unity among the nations that did not want to take sides between the United States and the Soviet Union. The concept is closely related but not identical to the political theory of Maoism–Third Worldism. Overview The political thinkers and leaders of Third-Worldism argued that the North-South divisions and conflicts were of primary political importance compared to the East-West opposition of the Cold War period. Henri Cueco
Henri Cueco (19 October 1929 – 13 March 2017) was a French painter, essayist, novelist and radio personality. As a self-taught painter, his work was exhibited internationally. He was the author of several books, including collections of essays and novels. He was also a contributor to France Culture.
