Pier Bucci
Pier Bucci is a Chilean electronic music producer . He is known for his solo work and for his role in the groups Mambotur, Skipsapiens, Monne Automne and Bucci (with his brother Andrés Bucci). He is one of three Bucci brothers – Juan Pablo, Pier and Andrés – all of whom are electronic music producers. Like his brother Andrés, Pier combines Latin rhythms with German style, as a result of his Chilean origin and the influence of the music scene of Berlin, his home since 2002. Career Pier Bucci was born in Santiago, Chile and grew up in the "Bucci Gallery" in the city centre. The gallery was one of the few places that offered art exhibition space in the Chilean military regime, and was one of the cultural bastions of the last years of the dictatorship, welcoming emerging avant-garde painters as well as punk and 80s new wave musicians. Jorge Humberto González Ríos (born 6 December 1964) is a Chilean singer-songwriter, best known for being the leader, vocalist, writer and bassist of the band Los Prisioneros, considered by some to be the most popular rock band in the country. González recorded six studio albums with Los Prisioneros and five as a solo artist. He also formed the Latin electronic project ''Gonzalo Martínez'' with fellow musician Dandy Jack, which would become the precursor of the genre known as technocumbia, established with their first and only album released in 1997. It became a success in Europe's underground music circuit, mainly in Germany and United Kingdom. After his second period with Los Prisoneros, González formed with his third wife the duet "Los Updates" in 2007, only to disband in 2011 after an extensive Europe tour. Peter Ford, better known as Baby Ford, is a British electronic music record producer, known particularly for his contributions to the birth of acid house. He has also released material under aliases with Mark Broom (Casino Classix, El Mal, Solcyc, & Perbec), Thomas Melchior (Soul Capsule & Sunpeople), and Eon (Minimal Man). Career Ford is influenced by Chicago musicians such as Marshall Jefferson, Ron Trent, Armando, and Larry Heard, and was one of the founders of the acid house scene in the United Kingdom. His early work was released on Rhythm King, including the club tracks "Oochy Koochy (F.U. Lucien Nicolet (born 24 February 1978 in Montcherand, Switzerland), known mononymously as Luciano, is a Swiss and Chilean DJ and producer. He is a five-time DJ Awards winner and ten-time nominee. He helped promote the underground electronic music scene in Chile. His DJ sets are strongly influenced by Latin American music.
