Jorge González (musician)
Jorge Humberto González Ríos (born 6 December 1964) is a Chilean singer-songwriter, best known for being the leader, vocalist, writer and bassist of the band Los Prisioneros, considered by some to be the most popular rock band in the country. González recorded six studio albums with Los Prisioneros and five as a solo artist. He also formed the Latin electronic project ''Gonzalo Martínez'' with fellow musician Dandy Jack, which would become the precursor of the genre known as technocumbia, established with their first and only album released in 1997. It became a success in Europe's underground music circuit, mainly in Germany and United Kingdom. After his second period with Los Prisoneros, González formed with his third wife the duet "Los Updates" in 2007, only to disband in 2011 after an extensive Europe tour. Self-injuring
Self-harm is intentional behavior that is considered harmful to oneself. This is most commonly regarded as direct injury of one's own skin tissues usually without a suicidal intention. Other terms such as cutting, self-injury and self-mutilation have been used for any self-harming behavior regardless of suicidal intent. Diazepam, first marketed as Valium, is a medicine of the benzodiazepine family that acts as an anxiolytic. Technocumbia
Tecnocumbia is a style of Cumbia where there is a fusion between electronic sounds generated by electronic musical instruments through electronic drums, the electric guitar, synthesisers, and samplers. "Tecnocumbia" was a word developed in Mexico to describe this type of music. However, the style of music was developed throughout South America with different names given to it before the name "Tecnocumbia" was adopted as the single denomination for the music. In Mexico, it developed as a variant of the Mexican cumbia that started in the early 1980s. The style added electronic instruments along with samplers to the Mexican cumbia music. Pedro Suárez-Vértiz Alva (born February 13, 1969) is a Peruvian singer-songwriter, and guitarist. Uwe H. Schmidt (born 27 August 1968), also known as Atom™, Atom Heart, or Señor Coconut, is a German composer, musician and producer of electronic music.
