Pidichirukku
''Pidichirukku'' ( en, I like it) is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film, produced by Kool Productions Chida Shenbaga Kumar, directed by Kanagu, starring Ashok Kumar, Vishakha Singh, Sampath Raj, Ganja Karuppu and Saranya Ponvannan. The cinematography is by D. V. Raameswaran and Manu Ramesan scored the music. 'Pidichirukku' was the title which N. Linguswamy was about to use for ''Run''. Director Kanagu, who was working as an assistant director with N. Linguswamy, got the title from him. The film was released during Pongal 2008 to mixed reviews. Plot The protagonists in the love story are Vel (Ashok Kumar), a Hindu coming from a lower-middle-class family and a booking clerk at a lorry transport and cargo agency in Tuticorin and Manju (Vishakha Singh), a Roman Catholic girl, studying in the local college. Ashok Kumar (Tamil Actor)
Ashok Kumar Balakrishnan is an Indian actor who has appeared in Ramanand Sagar's Shree Krishna serial and now is working in Tamil and South Indian Film Industry. Early life Ashok Kumar was born and brought up in a middle-class family to R. Balakrishnan and Radha Balakrishnan in Mumbai. Manu Ramesan
Manu Ramesan is an Indian film composer who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema. He is the son of lyricist S. Ramesan Nair. Ranjith K. Govind (born 21 February 1977), also known as K.G. Ranjith, is an Indian playback singer, working in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries and has sung more than 2500 songs. Early life Ranjith was born in Chennai, India into a Malayali family, hailing from Kalluvazhi, Kerala. He grew up listening to various kinds of music.
