Ashok Kumar (Tamil Actor)
Ashok Kumar Balakrishnan is an Indian actor who has appeared in Ramanand Sagar's Shree Krishna serial and now is working in Tamil and South Indian Film Industry. Early life Ashok Kumar was born and brought up in a middle-class family to R. Balakrishnan and Radha Balakrishnan in Mumbai. He did his schooling at Fatima High School, Vidyavihar, and Vani Vidyalaya. He graduated with Majors in Sociology, Psychology & Hindi Literature from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. Career As a teenager, he played the role of Little Krishna in Ramanand Sagar's teleserial ''Sri Krishna'' for which he won the "Best Child Actor Award" from Uptron. It was telecast in Doordarshan in 1994–95. He also was awarded the coveted Nritya Mayur for excellence in dance from the State Government of Maharashtra.
