Piconzé
''Piconzé'' is a 1973 Brazilian animated film written and directed by Ype Nakashima. It's the first color animated Brazilian feature film. Plot The story is set in a village called Green Valley, where Piconzé lives with his friends: Papo Louro the parrot and Chico Leitão the pig. When Gustavo Bigodão kidnaps Maria Esmeralda, Piconzé's girlfriend, the three set off to the rescue. Décio Pignatari
Décio Pignatari (August 20, 1927 – December 2, 2012) was a Brazilian poet, essayist and translator. Early life and education Born in Jundiaí in 1927, Pignatari began conducting experiments with poetic language, incorporating visuals elements and the fragmentation of words in the 1950s. Such verbal adventures culminated in concretism, aesthetic movement that he co-founded with Augusto and Haroldo de Campos, with whom he edited the journals ''Noigandres'' and ''Invention'' and published the ''Theory of Concrete Poetry'' (1965). Career As a theorist of communication and semiotics, Pignatari translated works of Marshall McLuhan and published the essay ''Information, Language and Communication'' (1968). His poetic work can also be read in ''Poesia Pois é Poesia'' (''Poetry because it's Poetry'') (1977). Saci (Brazilian Folklore)
Saci ( ) is a character in Brazilian folklore. He is a one-legged black man, who smokes a pipe and wears a magical red cap that enables him to disappear and reappear wherever he wishes (usually in the middle of a Dirt devil). Considered an annoying prankster in most parts of Brazil, and a potentially dangerous and malicious creature in others, he nevertheless grants wishes to anyone who manages to trap him or steal his magic cap. However, his cap is often depicted as having a bad smell. Most people who claimed to have stolen this cap say they can never wash the smell away. The legend says that a person can trap a Saci inside a bottle when he is in the form of a dust devil.
