Phunk Shui
''Phunk Shui'' (a.k.a. ''All Good People'') is a 2002 rock album by John Oates who is best known as being part of the rock and soul duo Hall & Oates. The album was originally released on August 20, 2002. The ''Phunk Shui'' CD was released four more times, with bonus tracks added each time. On October 29, 2002, a Japanese version added the bonus track "Mona Lisa's Eyes" (this version was released in the United States on May 20, 2003, as ''All Good People''). Two more bonus tracks were added on November 18, 2003, (title changing back to ''Phunk Shui'') for a new USA version ("Time Will Tell" and a live recording of "People Get Ready"). In 2006, a DualDisc version of ''Phunk Shui'' was released under the title '' John Oates Solo – The Album, The Concert''. The CD side is the 14-track version of ''Phunk Shui'' and the DVD side is '' John Oates: Live At The Historic Wheeler Opera House''; the bonus live CD that accompanied the live DVD is not included. John Oates
John William Oates (born April 7, 1948) is an American musician, best known as half of the rock and soul duo Hall & Oates, with Daryl Hall. He has played rock, R&B, and soul music, acting as a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Although Oates' main role in the duo is being the guitarist, he also co-wrote many of the top 10 songs that they recorded, including: "Sara Smile" (referring to Hall's then-girlfriend, Sara Allen), " She's Gone", and "Out of Touch", as well as "You Make My Dreams", "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)", " Maneater", and "Adult Education". He also sang lead vocals on several more singles in the Hot 100, such as "How Does It Feel to Be Back", "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" (a remake of the 1965 song performed by the Righteous Brothers), and " Possession Obsession". Bob Ludwig
Robert C. Ludwig (born c. 1945) is an American mastering engineer. He has mastered recordings on all the major recording formats for all the major record labels, and on projects by more than 1,300 artists including Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Bryan Ferry, Paul McCartney, Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen and Daft Punk resulting in over 3,000 credits. Stephen Jeffrey Holley (born 24 August 1954) is an English rock drummer. He was a member of Wings from August 1978 to April 1981. Tom "T-Bone" Wolk
Tom "T-Bone" Wolk (December 24, 1951 – February 28, 2010) was an American musician and bassist for the music duo Daryl Hall & John Oates and a member of the ''Saturday Night Live'' house band. Life and career Wolk was born and raised in Yonkers, New York. He was a state accordion champion by age 12. Seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, however, led him to bass and guitar—the former influenced by James Jamerson and Paul McCartney. He attended Roosevelt High School. Thomas Edward Faragher is an American producer, composer, songwriter, singer, and arranger. He is originally from Redlands, California. Performer Faragher started his career as a singer and keyboardist with his family, who formed a group called The Faragher Brothers. Funk
Funk is a music genre that originated in African American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of various music genres that were popular among African Americans in the mid-20th century.
