The Philippine Nurses Association of United Kingdom (PNA-UK) is the only professional nursing organization of Filipino nurses in the United Kingdom, accredited by the Philippine Nurses Association National Head Office in Manila, Philippines. The Philippine Nurses Association of United Kingdom (PNA-UK) is a non-profit professional organization of Filipino nurses currently in the United Kingdom. The association was created in response to the growing number of Filipino nurses in the UK. The Philippine Nursing Association of United Kingdom has laid out a set of vision, mission, and goals, as well as a statement of core values, strategic directions and key outcomes in accordance with the PNA National Office in Manila, Philippines. The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) is a registered trade union in the United Kingdom for those in the profession of nursing. It was founded in 1916, receiving its royal charter in 1928. Nursing And Midwifery Council
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is the regulator for nursing and midwifery professions in the UK. The NMC maintains a register of all nurses, midwives and specialist community public health nurses and nursing associates eligible to practise within the UK. It sets and reviews standards for their education, training, conduct and performance. The NMC also investigates allegations of impaired fitness to practise (i.e. where these standards are not met).
