Philip McCallen
Phillip McCallen (born Portadown, Armagh) is a Northern Ireland born former motorcycle racer, now turned to dealer in his retirement from road racing. McCallen is joint eighth in the list of all-time Isle of Man TT winners, with 11 race victories, including four races in one week in 1996; a tally which stood unbroken until 2010, when Ian Hutchinson won five races in a week. McCallen also won 5 wins from 6 starts at the 1992 North West 200, and 5 wins in one day at the 1996 Ulster Grand Prix. Biography McCallen was born within yards of the Tandragee road racing circuit. Honda RC30
The Honda VFR750R, model code 'RC30', is a fully faired, solo-seat-only racing motorcycle created for homologation purposes for the World Superbike Championship by Honda Racing Corporation (HRC). It was first released to the Japanese market in 1987, released in Europe in 1988 then the United States in 1990. There were only 3,000 made and they sold for - a very large amount for a production bike at the time. Engine The 748 cc 16-valve gear driven double overhead camshaft liquid-cooled RC24-derived 90° V4 produced at 9,500 rpm for the restricted Japanese model and @ 11,000 rpm elsewhere. It contained race-inspired components. These included such items as titanium connecting rods that reduced reciprocating weight ( lighter and eight times the cost) and gear driven camshafts. He won all of the main races with Jim Moodie and Joey Dunlop picking up the smaller bike wins. Dave Molyneux managed to hold off Rob Fisher to win both sidecar races. Macau Grand Prix
The Macau Grand Prix ( pt, Grande Prémio de Macau; ) is a motorsport road race for automobiles and motorcycles held annually in Macau. It is the only street circuit racing event in which both cars and motorcycles participate, and one of only two current national Grand Prix events that are not part of the Formula One World Championship, the other being the New Zealand Grand Prix. The first Macau Grand Prix event was held in 1954, as a sports car event. In 1961, the title race became an open-wheel Formula Libre event.
