Philip Brodie (actor)
Philip Brodie (born 3 April 1975) is a British actor and writer, best known for his role of Vivian "Jaws" Wright on ''Dream Team'' (2004–2005). Career His career began in theatre. He then progressed to stand-up in London and Edinburgh and had a stint in the West End. In 2004, he was cast as Vivian "Jaws" Wright in the Sky One TV series ''Dream Team''. His character was shown to battle OCD, undergo a volatile relationship with his wife and football career and serious mental health issues. In July 2008, he was ranked fifteenth on Sky One's "50 Greatest Hard Men" list. Brodie's one-man show, ''Tailor Made Love'' earned him critical acclaim. Redhill, Surrey
Redhill () is a town in the borough of Reigate and Banstead within the county of Surrey, England. The town, which adjoins the town of Reigate to the west, is due south of Croydon in Greater London, and is part of the London commuter belt. The town is also the post town, entertainment and commercial area of three adjoining communities : Merstham, Earlswood and Whitebushes, as well as of two small rural villages to the east in the Tandridge District, Bletchingley and Nutfield. ''Broken News'' is a comedy programme shown on BBC Two in late 2005. The show poked fun at the world of 24-hour rolling news channels. The title of the show is a play on the phrase "breaking news". It had six thirty-minute episodes. Having previously worked on programmes such as '' People Like Us'' and '' The Sunday Format'', the show's production team worked closely with writer and director John Morton. The show jump cut between its various spoof TV channels, which covered both the central story and other stories that would be of interest to their audience. A large part of the comedy came from observations about the nature of news presentation rather than the stories themselves. The programme centred on Britain's addiction to 24-hour news channels. Each week, ''Broken News'' looked at a fictitious news story such as "Tomato Flu" or "The End of the Rain". Its massive cast of 145 actors played newsreaders and reporters on different networks. ''My Hero'' is a British television sitcom, created by Paul Mendelson, and produced for the BBC between 2000 and 2006. The series follows the exploits of an alien superhero known as "Thermoman" - a multi-powered superhero who originates from the planet Ultron - during his time between missions after falling in love with a British nurse he rescued. Although incredibly intelligent amongst his kind, Thermoman is unfamiliar with human life, which not only leads others to consider him dim-witted and idiotic, but also causes problems due to his many misunderstandings. The main role of Thermoman was portrayed by Ardal O'Hanlon up until 2005, before he was replaced by James Dreyfus for the final series. ''Adventure Inc.'' is a dramatised adventure television series produced primarily in Canada which aired from 30 September 2002 to 12 May 2003. It was a co-production of Fireworks Entertainment (Canada), Tribune Entertainment (United States), M6 (France), Amy International (UK), and Tele München (Germany).
