Phil Moore (actor)
Phil Moore (born August 24, 1961) is an American television host, writer, producer, and comedian best known as the host of the Nickelodeon game show ''Nick Arcade''. Early life Moore was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Before breaking into the entertainment business in 1986, Moore worked as a computer technician in Orlando, Florida. Eventually, he quit to become a stand-up comedian, doing gigs around the Orlando area. Career Moore's first job in television was off-screen as the audience warm-up entertainer for the MTV game show ''Remote Control''. He also worked on ''Mickey Mouse Club'' and ''Let's Make a Deal'' in a similar capacity. The series is based on the Ryan's World YouTube channel, which signed an advertising deal with PocketWatch in 2017. ''Let's Ask America'' is an American interactive game show which debuted on September 17, 2012. The show features contestants who play from their homes via webcams, answering trivia questions relating to current events. On November 4, 2013, it was announced that Scripps planned to launch ''Let's Ask America'' nationwide through a distribution deal with MGM Television. Contestants participate by Skype from the comfort of their own home, an inexpensive technology negating the need for travel expenses. ''30 Seconds to Fame'' is an American television series that was shown on the Fox Network from July 17, 2002 to June 26, 2003, featuring a talent show where acts could only last up to 30 seconds each, regardless of any resolution to the act. The series was hosted by Craig Jackson. Many different talents were exhibited, such as contortionism, juggling, magic tricks, stand-up comedy, and beatboxing, in addition to singing and dancing acts. Much of the charm of the show was derived from the fact that each act lasted only 30 seconds, leading to a variety of different acts being displayed. The live audience acted as the judges.
