Phi Beta Mu
Phi Beta Mu, International Bandmasters' Fraternity (), is an honorary fraternity for band directors. The fraternity was designed to honor outstanding band directors at the state level, with only one potential chapter per state. There are currently 35 active chapters in the United States and Canada. Penn High School
Penn High School is a Public education, public high school located just outside Mishawaka, Indiana, United States, near South Bend, Indiana, South Bend. It is the only high school in the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation, Penn-Harris-Madison (PHM) School Corporation. Westlake High School (Texas)
Westlake High School is a public high school in unincorporated territory of Travis County, Texas, west of and adjacent to Austin. The school is a part of the Eanes Independent School District. Westlake High School is the only high school in the Eanes ISD and serves West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, parts of Southwest Austin, as well as parts of unincorporated Travis County. Plano East Band
Plano East Senior High School (commonly known as East, Plano East, or PESH) is a public secondary school in Plano, Texas (USA) serving high school juniors and seniors, as well as freshmen and sophomores as a part of the IB World School (beginning with the 2013–2014 school year). Jerry Junkin
Jerry Junkin is an American conductor of wind bands and educator. Junkin serves on the faculty of the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin where he holds the Vincent R. and Jane D. DiNino Chair for the Director of Bands. He conducts the University of Texas Wind Ensemble and instructs graduate as well as undergraduate conducting courses. Additionally, Junkin has served as the conductor of the Dallas Wind Symphony since 1993. Biography Jerry Junkin was born in Victoria, Texas in 1956. His late father Fred Junkin was director of bands at Victoria High School, which influenced the young Junkin to pursue music. He attended Victoria High School from 1970 to 1974. The expansion of Greek letter organizations into Canada was an important stage of the North American fraternity movement, beginning in 1879 with the establishment of a chapter of Zeta Psi at the University of Toronto. In 1883 the same fraternity established a chapter at McGill University.
