Phalanx is an unincorporated community in Braceville Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. It is identified by signage as Phalanx Mills. History A post office at Phalanx was established in 1872, and remained in operation until 1902. The community was named after the local Trumbull Phalanx Company, which was a utopian community based upon Charles Fourier François Marie Charles Fourier (;; 7 April 1772 – 10 October 1837) was a French philosopher, an influential early socialist thinker and one of the founders of utopian socialism. Braceville Township is one of the twenty-four townships of Trumbull County, Ohio, United States. The 2020 census found 2,467 people in the township. History Braceville Township was established in the 1810s, and named after Jonathan Brace, a land agent. It is the only Braceville Township statewide.
