Petrochimi Tabriz Football Club ( fa, پتروشيمي تبريز باشگاه فوتبال) was an Iranian Association football, football club based in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan Province, Azerbaijan Province. They were founded in 2001 and dissolved in 2010 because of lack of support and financial issues. Bagh Shomal Stadium
The Takhti Stadium (, ''Vârzeshgah-e Texeti'') formerly known as Bagh Shomal Stadium (, ''Vârzeshgah-e Baq Shimal'') is a multi-use stadium in Tabriz, Iran. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Iran Pro League team Machine Sazi. The stadium holds 25,000 people. Reza Vatankhah ( fa, رضا وطنخواه) (born February 9, 1947 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian retired football player. Iranian football's 2nd division ( fa, ليگ دسته دوم ایران) is the third-highest football division overall in the Iranian football league system. Before 2001, the 2nd division league was the second-highest division in Iranian football league system, however, this was changed to third-highest division when Iran's football structure officially became professional. The league consists of two, fourteen team groups who play each other twice in a home and away format. The first and second placed teams in each group are automatically promoted to the Azadegan League. The bottom two teams in both groups are automatically relegated to the 3rd division. If teams in the promotion or relegation spots are tied in terms of points, a home and away series will be played. The team with the best aggregate score will either avoid relegation or win promotion. Iranian football's 3rd division ( fa, ليگ دسته سوم ایران) is the fourth-highest football division overall in the Iranian football league system. Before 2001, the 3rd division league was the third-highest division in Iranian football league system, however, this was changed to fourth-highest division when Iran's football structure officially became professional. The league consists of two stages. In first stage, 65 teams participate in five groups of 13 teams each. The groups are organized in a manner such that teams closer to each other geographically end up in the same group. Because of this the 3rd division can be considered as a regional league.
