Petr Bezobrazov
Pyotr Alekseyevich Bezobrazov (russian: Пётр Алексе́евич Безобра́зов; 29 January 1845 – 17 July 1906) was an admiral in the Imperial Russian Navy. Early career Born into an old Bezobrazov noble family, Pyotr began his naval service as a midshipman on the frigate ''Dmitry Donskoy'' from 1864 to 1866. He was promoted to warrant officer in 1866, to lieutenant in 1870 and to lieutenant-commander in 1880. He became executive officer of the frigate ''Svetlana'' in 1883. He became captain 2nd rank in 1885 after commanding a number of gunboats, and to captain, 1st rank in 1890. From 1893 to 1897, he was captain of the armoured cruiser , which visited ports in the eastern United States as part of the celebration of the 1893 Chicago World Exposition. The Imperial Order of Saint Prince Vladimir (russian: орден Святого Владимира) was an Imperial Russian order established on by Empress Catherine the Great, Catherine II in memory of the deeds of Vladimir I, Prince of Kiev, Saint Vladimir, the Grand Prince and the Baptizer of the Kievan Rus'. Grades The order had four degrees and was awarded for continuous civil and military service. People who had been awarded with the St. Vladimir Order for military merits bore it with a special fold on the ribbon – "with a bow". There was a certain hierarchy of Russian Orders. Order Of Military Merit (Bulgaria)
The Order of Military Merit ( bg, Орден за Военна Заслуга) is a Bulgarian order during the Kingdom of Bulgaria and the Republic of Bulgaria. It is the third highest order in the Republic of Bulgaria along with the Order of Civil Merit and the Order of the Madara Rider. The Royal Order The order was established with a decree of the Knyaz on 19 May 1900 as a sign of the benevolence of the Monarch to the bravery of the Bulgarian army. It was similar to the Order of Civil Merit but made for military personnel. The order was given to military figures for immaculate service and special merit. It was established with six grades and in 1933 the Grand Cross was added. The order had a shape of Pisan cross with shoulder covered in red enamel.
